Thank You for Supporting Relief and Recovery

The Community Foundation is overwhelmed by the generosity and financial support for the frontline relief work taking place in WNC. We are collaborating with regional funders, Dogwood Health Trust and WNC Bridge Foundation, and they are both early funders of this effort. We have had major gifts from NC funders such as The Duke Endowment, William R. Kenan, Jr. Charitable Trust, The Leon Levine Foundation, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NC Foundation, and many others. Our community foundations colleagues have shown up in force and so have their fundholders. CFWNC’s fundholders, rooted in WNC, have generously committed resources.

On top of this, we have received donations from more than 8,300 of you from across the country. We are so inspired by this meaningful commitment of resources to support frontline nonprofits.

Normally, we pride ourselves on thanking people promptly, but right now, we are heads down focused on processing EDRF grants and getting funds to our nonprofit partners.

We are deeply grateful.
